Jerusalem: A complaint has been lodged with the police of Israel and Kerala against two Malayalis for defrauding around Rs 20 crore from several people here.
Kannur native Lijo George Chirakkal and Thiruvananthapuram native Shini Shinil swindled money from more than 350 people, the complaint says. They collected money in the name of 'Perfect Chitty' till February 2022.
Many realised the fraud only after the duo allegedly left the country with the collection amount. Some of the victims are stuck in Israel due to loss of money, it is learnt.
