COVID-19 recovery rate in India crosses 80 per cent mark
Alappuzha: CPI state secretary Kanam Rajendran said that the murder of SDPI and RSS activists in Palakkad cannot be termed as political killings. He stated that these were murders instigated by communal forces.
No political party is involved in the murders, he added.
"We are well aware of the organisations that are behind the murders. It is unclear why the media is hesitant to call them communal forces. There is no place for such organisations in the secular mindset of Keralites," he said.
He pointed out that the media and the public should be able to take a strong stance so that the communal forces cannot disrupt peace in the country. Condemning the criticism against the state government, he added that such incidents should not be used as a weapon against the government.
He said that the protest of KSEB and KSRTC can be viewed only as a workers' struggle to earn their rights. He also pointed out that workers will protest to safeguard their rights even if UDF or LDF comes into power.
