All news channels also telecast the news of Nabeesumma's death. However, the State Covid Monitoring Cell was unaware of it. As the death was not included in the government report, it was not added in the website of district health department and the regular press release of the PRD.

According to the website of district health department, the number of recovered patients was 505 on Friday. On Saturday, 7 more patients recovered. Then the number was supposed to be 512. However, this was updated as 513.

It is clear that the health department in Kasaragod counted Nabeesumma as a recovered patient as she was removed from the list of patients in Kannur medical college.
