Ramesh Chennithala
Kannur: Ramesh Chennithala said that CPM's plan to bring Congress leaders to their fold could not weaken the party in Kerala.
"KV Thomas said that it was due to Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan that he attended the seminar organised as part of the CPM Party Congress. This indicates that CM is trying to bring Congress leaders into CPM. It is up to CM to evaluate whether this kind of attitude is apt for him," he said.
He added that it was astonishing for everyone to witness KV Thomas acting totally against shifting his political stand taken all these years.
"We are sad that he attended the seminar. There is no point in thinking this would weaken Congress and undermine the workers' morale," he said.
"Congress is the largest political front in Kerala. This party will not collapse for such CPM plans," he said. He added that no matter how hard CM and the CPM try to destroy Congress, it will never be fruitful.
