CM to release Jacob Thomas' autobiography


The autobiography also essays his crusade against the corruption as an officer and the support he got from Pinarayi Vijayan as Chief Minister.

Thiruvananthapuram: It seems that trouble is mounting for some bigwigs as former Vigilance Director Jacob Thomas is set to release his autiobiography 'Swim with the Sharks'. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will release the book at Thiruvanathapuram on Monday.

In the book, the rebel police officer, who is on a compulsory leave, reveals his struggle against corrupt bureaucrats. By agreeing to release his book, the Chief Minister seems not to forsake his faithful officer.



The autobiography also essays his crusade against the corruption as an officer and the support he got from Pinarayi Vijayan as Chief Minister. The first copy of the book will be received by V.Govindaraj, Panchayat President, Edamalakkudy.

According to sources, Jacob Thomas may rejoin duty next month after the leave. However, he may not be reinstated as Vigilance Director. Jacob Thomas may succeed DGP TP Senkumar, who is due to retire on June 30.
