Pinarayi Vijajayan

Kochi: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan pointed out that there are wrong practices prevailing in the trade union. He made the remark while presenting a document, 'Nava Kerala Vision and Party' at the CPM state conference. He claimed that the trade unions are aware of their wrongdoings but continue to do the same thing knowingly.

"Trade unions have been around for decades. They are repeating some mistakes despite knowing that they are wrong. If this continues, it will affect many other areas in the society," he said.

He also pointed out the mistakes of the trade union which tarnished the state's image as an investment-friendly place. He also cited recent incidents from Kannur. He added that his previous ministry managed to resolve the Nokkukooli issue, despite certain ill tendencies continuing unaddressed.
