CM scared of his own shadow; waiting for his reply, says K Surendran
Thiruvananthapuram: BJP state president K Surendran alleged that Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, who resort to personal attacks when political questions are asked, is scared of his own shadow. Surendran asked how the Chief Minister would respond to his question if not in a press conference and said that he is waiting for the reply.
“He is haunted by the fear of when the investigation agencies would reach him. Pinarayi Vijayan should not threaten BJP. He knows very well that BJP will not take a step back because of his threats. We have faced such responses from the time of Vadikkal Ramakrishnan and did not run away from it,” K Surendran said after inaugurating the secretariat march demanding the resignation of Pinarayi Vijayan and KT Jaleel.
Surendran alleged that by publicly challenging BJP, the Chief Minister is giving out a message to party criminals and CPM’s police to launch attacks against BJP. If the intent is to face the protests using violence and cheating, BJP is ready for that as well. BJP raised political questions related to corruption. The Chief Minister has not yet answered those questions.
The BJP president also asked why the stance taken by Pinarayi Vijayan against the previous Chief Minister is not applicable to his ministers. He also added that Narendra Modi-led BJP is at the center and that not even a single corrupt person will be allowed to escape.
