CM’s escort vehicle overspeeds in Kottayam; court seeks report

Kottayam: The First Class Judicial Magistrate Court, Pala has sought a report over the dangerous overspeeding of Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan's escort vehicle in Kottayam. The speeding incident took place in Kozha on Friday.

The court has sought a report from Kuravilangadu SHO Nirmal Muhsin and directed to submit it within February 17.

Referring to the incident, the court asked what action was taken in case of the incident and pointed out that common man should also be able to travel on the road.

Apparently, the court magistrate’s vehicle was parked in the Kozha region while the chief minister’s vehicle escort passed through the area.

The magistrate, who was unsatisfied witnessing the dangerous speeding, decided to pursue the matter further and demanded the report.
