The CM claims that backdoor placements are made based on qualifications. Swapna Suresh who did not even pass SSLC was appointed at a post with Rs 1.75 lakh salary as recommended by the CM’s office. What qualification was its basis, the opposition leader asked.

Thiruvalla: Opposition Leader Ramesh Chennithala said that the figures of PSC appointments presented by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan in a press meet are unreal. The chief minister aims to suppress the protest by presenting fake statistics, Chennithala alleged.

The chief minister said that when 13,825 appointments were made in police force during the tenure of this government, the previous government had given only 4,791 placements. We have no clue of its sources. The UDF government had appointed 10,185 staff in police department during 2011-14 when I was Home minister, Chennithala claimed.

This government only conducts backdoor placements. The CM claims that backdoor placements are made based on qualifications. Swapna Suresh who did not even pass SSLC was appointed to a post with Rs 1.75 lakh salary as recommended by the CM’s office. What qualification was its basis, the opposition leader asked.

Heart-breaking events are taking place in front of the secretariat. But nothing affects the government and the chief minister. It is the responsibility of the government to give job to the deserving candidates. If they do not hold discussion with protesting people, Narendra Modi and Pinarayi Vijayan are no different from each other, Chennithala said.
