Thiruvananthapuram: Minister V Sivankutty criticised KPCC president K Sudhakaran for his remarks on Chief Minister’s ongoing treatment. Sivankutty said the KPCC president’s statement on this was unfortunate. Sudhakaran had withdrawn the letter which he posted on social media against the CM and CPM state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan. However, Sivankutty claimed that this has been done to deceive the public.
Congress leader Rajmohan Unnithan had once revealed how EP Jayarajan consoled him when he headed to Thiruvananthapuram to see his son who met with an accident. Malayalis have not forgotten the incident when EK Nayanar visited K Karunakaran while he was undergoing treatment. By mentioning such instances, Sivankutty said that Sudhakaran is trying to poison the minds of Malayalis.
Though Sudhakaran had removed the post, he has not refrained Congress workers from spreading the same, added Sivankutty. Nonetheless, Minister appreciated the statement of Muraleedharan regarding this.
