Thiruvananthapuram: In his Republic Day message, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan asserted that the public will together fight against the forces that try to tamper with the development of the state. The CM urged that mutual cooperation is inevitable as the state needs a speedy recovery and development after the setbacks caused by the pandemic.

By hailing the spirit of India’s constitution, Pinarayi Vijayan said that attempts are being made to snatch powers of the states and weaken federalism. The secular nature of the nation is getting targeted on account of favouritism towards the majority religious group. It is diluting the values of democracy, slammed CM.

In order to ensure that benefits of development reach all, the social hierarchies have to be wiped out from the nation. He also asked the Keralites to reproach smear campaigns and fake news spreading against the ongoing developments of the state.
