Ramesh Chennithala

Thiruvananthapuram: Opposition Leader Ramesh Chennithala on Monday stated that Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, who is searching for loopholes to protect KT Jaleel even after the Lokayukta verdict, is a bandit. Many ministers are justifying it. But the people of Kerala will not forgive this, he added.

“Kodiyeri Balakrishnan and Kanam Rajendran had said that CM will take appropriate action. But Vijayan took no action because he too is involved in it. He was the one who supported altering the educational qualification," Chennithala alleged.

All the actions of Jaleel were unlawful and anti-constitutional. He had made students, who failed, pass in examinations. He should have resigned then. Later, Customs questioned him. He should have resigned at least then. Now, even the Lokayukta has stated. But still he is not resigning, he said.

The Congress leader also claimed that all their allegations reflating to Speaker came true. The public is waiting to oust the government that sank in corruption and loot. There is no doubt that UDF will come to power after the vote count on May 2, he added.
