Ramesh Chennithala
Thiruvananthapuram: Opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala said that the chief minister seems to be embarrassed as their attempt to win the election by creating rigged votes was foiled. The chief minister degraded himself to a low standard by stating that the opposition leader tried to depict all voters in the state are rigged voters, Chennithala said.
I proved with evidence that many fake voters were created without the knowledge of the real voter. CPM executed this with the help of some officials. It can be understood when multiple entries are made after a person moved to another location after marriage. But this case is different as same photo is used for creating multiple IDs, Chennithala added.
We have to find out where the fake identity cards have disappeared. Many rigged voters were added in the local body polls also. They tried this strategy successfully in the local body election, but was caught before assembly polls. This embarrassment is clear from the CM’s words, the opposition leader alleged.
