Thiruvananthapuram: KT Jaleel MLA said that he hadn't seen Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan eating Biryani or showing interest in trying one. The sarcastic remark from the former minister came amidst Swapna's remark that biryani vessels containing 'metals' were taken from the consulate general's residence to the CM's Cliff House.
"She said that there was something metallic inside the vessels. It is better to say that the Biryani vessels were sent to my house instead of Cliff house. Because I love Biryani. I haven't seen CM consuming Biryani or showing any interest in it," Jaleel said in a press conference. He remarked that they should have at least come up with a better lie against Chief Minister.
Meanwhile, Jaleel also demanded an enquiry into the incident in which a person named Shaj Kiran approached Swapna, demanding to withdraw her statement.
