Cliff house, AKG centre aiding smuggling activities: K Surendran
Thiruvananthapuram: BJP Kerala state president K Surendran stated that Cliff house and AKG centre were aiding smuggling activities in the state.
CPM will have to respond on the subject both politically and morally, he said.
"By stating that the party does not have to respond to these subjects, they are challenging the public and the party. The Chief Minister’s office and AKG centre have been involved in such a serious case on the same day," K Surendran said while addressing the media.
The smuggling gang and the narcotics gang are interrelated. Bineesh Kodiyeri has been charged with the crime that he distributed money to the smuggling gang. The fact that the son of the ruling party’s state secretary has been linked with narcotics business, Havana transaction and real estate deals, increase the seriousness of the issue.
Cliff House and AKG centre have aided both the cases. This is an extraordinary incident. The party leadership should admit the crime and give an explanation to the public. K Surendran also demanded that Kodiyeri Balakrishnan should resign from his post and apologise.
