CI booked for having unnatural sex with POCSO accused in TVM 


Reportedly, the case was registered following a complaint lodged by the youth, accused in a POCSO case, alleging that the CI had subjected him to unnatural sex at his house.

Thiruvananthapuram: The Ayiroor Police have registered a case against a police official for allegedly subjecting a 27-year-old POCSO accused to unnatural sex.

The officer has been identified as former Ayiroor circle inspector (CI) Jayasanil. He is currently under suspension in connection with another case.

The case was registered following a complaint lodged by the POCSO accused alleging the CI had subjected him to unnatural sex at his house.

The accused revealed about the incident before the court during the hearing of his bail plea in the case. Soon after receiving bail, the youth went to Ayiroor police station and lodged the complaint.

According to the complainant, Jayasanil arrived at the accused house to arrest him. Following which, he abused him and tried to settle the case after taking a bribe of Rs 50,000.

Meanwhile, the officer is currently under suspension for accepting bribes from another POCSO case accused and later framing him under a false case.
