Church dispute: Jacobite Church again raises demand for ordinance


The Jacobite believers have been protesting in front of 52 churches, which they lost, demanding justice.

Thiruvananthapuram: The Jacobite Church has again raised their demand for an ordinance in the church dispute.

“If the state government did not intervene in the matter, the Jacobite Church authorities will approach the central government,” said Metropolitan Trustee Joseph Mar Gregorious.

The Jacobite believers have been protesting in front of 52 churches, which they lost, demanding justice. They are staging a strike to protect faith in front of all 52 churches including Mulanthuruthy and Piravom churches.

The protest strike was conducted in Mulanthuruthy under the leadership of Metropolitan Trustee Joseph Mar Gregorious. Police have tightened security near the churches to prevent untoward incidents.
