Chief minister visits flood affected areas in northern Kerala
Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has set off to visit flood affected areas in the northern districts in state on Tuesday in an Air Force flight.
CM will visit flood relief camps in Malappuram and Wayanad districts. He will also participate a meeting with people’s representatives at Kalpetta civil station. Revenue minister E Chandrasekharan, chief secretary Tom Jose and DGP Loknath Behera are accompanying CM.
After landing at Karipur airport, CM will visit relief camps in Meppadi. It will be followed by the meeting in Kalpetta. MPs and MLAs will participate in this meeting. By 2 pm, the team will visit relief camps at Bhoodhanam. Later the day, he will return to Thiruvananthapuram from Karipur airport.
