Thiruvananthapuram: Opposition leader, Ramesh Chennithala, wrote to the General Secretary of CPM Sitaram Yechury asking him to investigate the allegations raised against the Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.
Chennithala highlighted all the allegations that the government is facing including corruption and nepotism.
The Kerala government under Pinarayi Vijayan has flouted all the ideals upholded by CPM. As the leader of the party, Sitaram Yechury should respond to this deviance from the party’s idealogies, the letter stated.
Chennithala also demanded that the party should act against Pinarayi Vijayan for opening up his office to help those involved in corruption and gold smuggling activities.
He also pointed out that corruptions like the Sprinklr deal would not have taken place if the government functioned in accordance with CPM's true ideals.
