Chennithala has a habit of producing documents and raising allegations: A. Vijayaraghavan

CPI (M) is a party that fights against the Hindu communalism of RSS without considering seats or votes. Kerala has a government that takes such stances, added Vijayaraghavan.

Malappuram: CPI (M) interim state secretary A. Vijayaraghavan said that it is Opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala’s habit to show some documents and raise allegations. He was speaking to the media on the sidelines of the ‘Vikasana Munneetta Jatha’ here.

“For Chennithala, it is not important that his allegations are trustworthy. We have seen him raise baseless allegations during the floods and the pandemic. He continues that habit. The government has a deep sea fishing policy and Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has clarified it. The honesty shown by LDF towards fisherfolk is visible on the coast,” added the CPI (M) leader.

Only the Left stands with religious minorities. The Congress holds close links with BJP through their soft-Hindutva policies. Congress supports the anti-minority policies of Sangh Parivar and the central government. CPI (M) is a party that fights against the Hindu communalism of RSS without considering seats or votes. Kerala has a government that takes such stances, added Vijayaraghavan.

Religious minorities and neutrals are well aware of the reason why Congress supporters and leaders are joining the BJP, the CPI (M) leader said.

The Opposition leader never mentions anything about BJP during his rally. After the rally started, petrol prices went up by Rs 10 while the price of LPG rose by Rs 100. But these don’t seem to matter to Congress. The UDF rally has become one that maintains silence over matters that affect the public and levels allegations and lies against Pinarayi Vijayan and his government.
