The letter that came to light

Kozhikode: A letter that shows it was IUML state president Panakkad Hyderali Shihab Thangal who directed Mueen Ali Thangal to resolve the issues in ‘Chandrika’ daily, the party mouthpiece, has come to light. The letter was written on the letter pad of Panakkad Hyderali Shihab Thangal and was dated on March 5.

It has been stated in the letter that Mueen Ali was assigned to resolve the issues in ‘Chandrika’ and the issues should be settled this month itself holding talks between Sameer and the management.

The controversy erupted after MLA K T Jaleel raised allegations regarding the financial transactions that took place in Chandrika. Following this, the lawyer of the management convened a press conference and Mueen Ali also attended it.

Several allegations were levelled against Kunhalikutty and the party and this led to further issues. It was alleged that Mueen Ali attended the press meet unnecessarily. Later, the letter of Hyderali Shihab Thangal came to light.
