Thiruvananthapuram: The College of Engineering, Trivandrum (CET) declared Monday holiday due to stray dog menace. The previous day, a dog with rabies had attacked several stray dogs at the campus. Following this, authorities decided to close the college on Monday. But the college stated that there would be no change in exams and online classes.

Authorities said that the decision to close the college was taken considering the safety of students and employees. Corporation workers would reach the campus to catch the dogs.

Authorities have decided to transfer the dogs caught from the campus to a camp.
