Central investigation agencies came to Kerala to help CM: V. Muraleedharan
Kozhikode: Union Minister of State for External Affairs V. Muraleedharan said that central investigation agencies came to Kerala to help Chief Minister Pinarayi VIjayan.
“The CM called the central probe agencies. But now he is not ready to acknowledge that. Only the CM knows if the investigation will lead to him,” Muraleedharan said. He was speaking at a program organised by the Calicut Press Club in connection with the Local Self Government polls in Kerala.
The CPI (M) must not think that they can keep the people under control forever using financial power alone. The investigations, including the one in the gold smuggling case will stop only at the end. Investigations are on to find those behind all these. But it will be found. Initially, the CM welcomed the probe. But when the investigations started revealing the truth, the CM was opposing it. If the CM is not afraid, why is he opposing the investigation? asked Muraleedharan.
The BJP leader said that Congress in Kerala was surrendering to Muslim League. Even the Christian regions, which greatly supported Congress in the past, are distancing from the party now. Congress is nearing its end in Kerala. The LSG election result will reveal that ordinary Congress supporters cannot accept their party’s alliance with communal outfits. Soon, many Congress supporters will join BJP, said Muraleedharan.
The CPI (M) needs a solid financial foundation to remain strong. For that they need to keep their co-operative establishments safe. Some people doubt if that is the reason behind the move against KSFE.
Speaking about the farmers’ protest, Muraleedharan said that the agitations were not present in all parts of the country. Kerala’s actions are politically motivated. The new farm law will help farmers sell their products directly. How can such an act be against the farmers? asked Muraleedharan.
