Nedumbassery: Air India Group along with Air India Express and AirAsia India, celebrated Women’s Day by scheduling 90 all-women crew flights across various airports in the country. Air India has been operating 90 aircraft services with all women employees, including pilot and cabin crew, on its international and domestic routes from March 1.

“Here's to all the exceptional women who help us fly higher every day! We celebrate the strong, the courageous, and the unstoppable - may you continue to inspire us all with your grace and grit!,” tweeted Air India.

The only all-women crew flight operated from Kochi on March 8 commenced the journey after celebrating women’s day by cutting cake and sharing sweets.

Air India reported that at least 15 per cent of its 1825 pilots are women, which makes it the airline with the largest number of female pilots.
