Thiruvananthapuram: CBI has sent a notice to Life Mission CEO UV Jose in connection with the alleged corruption in the project. CBI has instructed him to appear at the CBI office with all files related to the project on October 5.
It was UV Jose, who signed the agreement between Life Mission and Red Crescent. Earlier, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) had sent a notice to UV Jose asking him to produce the agreement that was signed and all the government documents.
UV Jose signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with UAE Red Crescent at the Chief Minister’s office. It has been alleged that commission worth Rs 4.5 crores has been handed over in connection with the Life Mission project.
