Case should be charged against Kodiyeri for promoting religious discord
Thiruvananthapuram: BJP state president K Surendran demanded to book case against CPM state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan for promoting religious disharmony through fake campaigns. CPM is trying to save the face of the corrupt government by hurting the religious sentiment of Islam and creating communal tension, Surendran alleged in an article written in a vernacular daily.
CPM state secretary is acting as per Jaleel's SIMI tradition. BJP would not withdraw from the protest until the Pinarayi Vijayan-led government resigns. BJP never opposed distribution of Quran, but protested against smuggling gold, Surendran added.
The chief minister offered all cooperation to the investigation, but later the files caught fire in the Protocol Department where there are no CCTV cameras installed. When Swapna was admitted, she contacted many high-profile persons from the phone of a nurse who has CPM connections.
The CM is protecting Jaleel as he is managing his financial deals. It is suspicious why CPM politburo is silent about Jaleel. It will come to light if they had received any foreign fund only after investigation is held, Surendran said.
CPM state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan had alleged in an article in CPM mouthpiece that the opposition is using Holy Quran for political agenda. He also said that the opposition protest is an insult to Quran.
