3 killed as car hits tree after losing control in Wayanad

Kalpetta: Three persons died when a car lost control and hit a tree at Muttil in Kalpetta. The deceased were identified as Pulpally natives Ananthu, Yadhu and Mithun from Palakkad.

The tragic incident happened on Saturday morning around 6.30 am on the National Highway in Variyad. The accident was caused when the car, which was heading from Kalpetta region, lost control and hit a tree on the roadside. It has been reported that there were five passengers in the car and all them are students of Palakkad Nehru college.

The mortal remains are kept at a private hospital and General Hospital in Kalpetta.
