Munnar: A car carrying a policeman and his female friend reportedly met with an accident at Munnar Hydel Park, resulting in damage to a set of equipment. The incident occurred while the woman was on her way to Munnar with the policeman, whom she allegedly eloped with.
Earlier, the woman’s husband had lodged a missing complaint with the police. An investigation was carried out centred on the mobile tower location and she was tracked near Munnar.
However, the duo fled the place before the arrival of the police. Further investigation revealed that their car met with the accident at the hydel park.
As per reports, the Munnar police have registered a case against the official and the woman, a native of Nedumbassery.
