The incident happened around 12:20 AM on Saturday at the premises of NCK Tourist Home located near the KSRTC bus stand. It is said that the youngster was beaten up badly, before he was taken away in a car, with his hands and legs tied.

As per the onlookers, the youngster came to the place in a Swift car. He was wearing mundu. Later, a guy arrived at the same spot on a bike. Later, a gang arrived at the spot in a blue colour car and abducted the youngster wearing mundu.
