Kochi car crash: Manfiya received death threat from boyfriend, says mother

Kochi: After the mishap which claimed the lives of former Kerala models, another car crash reported at Kalamassery also turned out to be mysterious. Edathala native Manfiya alias Suhana was killed in the accident. The case became more mysterious after Manfiya's mother has come out with some revelations.

Talking to Mathrubhumi news, she revealed that Manfiya had received a death threat before the accident. Following the accident, the person who accompanied Manfiya in the car disappeared from the spot. Manfiya’s mother claimed that the person was Manfiya's boyfriend. She also said that the boyfriend had tortured her many times. Her family also raised suspicion over the man as he vanished from the accident spot.

The car crash was reported on November 30 at Kalamassery. By losing control, the car rammed on a pole near the metro. Police have registered a case against the car driver Salman for drunk driving.
