Cancellation of mark moderation a victory of Opposition: Ramesh Chennithala
Thiruvananthapuram: Opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala stated that the decision to cancel the mark moderation in MG University is the victory of the opposition. He added that the government had to admit their shortcomings which they already brought to light. He demanded that minister K. T. Jaleel should resign from his post upholding ethics.
The students should be allowed to write the exams in the conventional method. The issue was not raised in view of the election. We only brought to light a huge scam done by the government. It is a good sign that they were willing to correct the mistake, he said.
However, the allegations regarding the minister’s intervention still exist. He has to face the probe in the matter. We will respond regarding the debacle in by-election only after convening a UDF meeting, he added.
It has been directed that responsible party leaders should not make public statements. Opinion will be conveyed in the party forums. Party workers need not say aloud their opinion and it will only cause harm to the party, the opposition leader stated.
