Kochi: BJP leader K Surendran has moved the Kerala High Court on Saturday seeking cancellation of election to Manjeswaram Assembly seat.

In his plea, Surendran alleges widespread malpractices in the election.

The BJP leader had lost the elections to IUML candidate P B Abdul Rasak for a slender margin of 89 votes.

Media have already carried stories on the malpractices, including fake voters, in the constituency. I will take the legal route for the cancellation of the election, he said.
