Thiruvananthapuram: The Cabinet decided to recommend Governor Arif Mohammed Khan convene the Assembly from January 8 to 22.

The State budget is likely to be presented on January 15th.

The cabinet decided to create 17 additional posts of 2nd grade junior health inspectors in Kollam corporation to strengthen waste management activities.

Kasaragod district judge S. H. Panchapakesan will be appointed as the state commissioner for the differently abled. He will be appointed for three years.

The cabinet also decided to create 32 posts (Assistant Professor – 9, Associate Professor – 22, Professor – 1) in various dental colleges. 16 assistant professor posts will be upgraded to associate professor posts.
