Cabinet decides to create 191 vacancies at Tata hospital in Kasaragod
Thiruvananthapuram: Government has decided to create 191 vacancies in the new hospital constructed by Tata group in Kasaragod district and handed over to the state for COVID prevention.
The vacancies will be filled with employees on temporary/deputation basis immediately. The decision was taken in the cabinet meeting held on Wednesday.
The cabinet also decided to distribute free grocery kits to the inmates of accredited and non accredited welfare centres, old age homes, monasteries and mental health centres in the state. The distribution will be done via rations shops from September to December.
Rs 3.2 crores will be approved from Tsunami Rehabilitation Scheme for the construction of rehabilitation centres as per the National Hurricane Prevention Scheme.
Rs 10.11 crores have been approved for renovation of Petta-Oruvathilkotta road. The money will also be utilized for solving the problems in connection with the installation of a new sewage and fresh water drinking system.
