Cabinet approves allocation for digital resurvey of villages

Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala cabinet on Wednesday renewed the fund allotted for the digital resurvey project of 1,550 villages in Kerala to Rs 858 crore.

The cabinet decided to grant Rs 3,000 as a temporary relief for the permanent staff at KELTRON irrespective of their joining date.

Salaries of the government approved posts in the State Institute of Encyclopaedic Publications will be revised according to the recommendations of 11th pay commission.

25 new vacancies will be created in the Pariyaram Medical College Public School acquired by the government. Eligible 14 staff currently working in the school will be reappointed as government staff. The staff with B Ed, will be given time to clear K-TET. The other teachers will be allowed to continue on daily wages until a final decision is resorted.
