Aims Child’s best horoscope and pain-free delivery
Most of the families or couples opt C-section as per the advice of astrologer to have the child’s birth on an auspicious day and time. Meanwhile, women below 30 years prefer Caesarean to have a pain-free delivery.
Usually, doctors in government hospitals do not encourage C-sections.
Side effects on health
In most of the cases, women are not ready to tolerate the labour pain for 10 to 12 hours. At present, most of the hospitals have the facility to administer epidural anaesthesia to reduce pain. This anaesthesia is not expensive but should be administrated by an expert.
It is learned that women who undergo Caesarean for their first delivery will face problems when they have it goor the second childbirth.
“The uterus gets ruptured while undergoing C-section. So it will definitely affect the mother’s next delivery. Usually, C-section is recommended during emergency situations,” said Dr Anasooya Rajiv, Alappuzha Govt. Medical College.
Mother's health condition demands C-sections
“Nowadays, premature deliveries are on the rise. So in such situations, C-section is the only option to save the baby,” said Dr Radhamani from Kochi Amritha Hospital.
“Usually, women who conceive with In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) are aged. So there will be complications in their delivery and C-section became necessary. I think apart from C-section seeking child’s birth on an auspicious day, complications in the mother’s condition force the doctors to carry out caesarean delivery," she added.
