Mavoor: Tour organiser and Chairman & Managing Director of Vivekananda Travels C Narendran passed away here in Kozhikode on Sunday morning. He was 62.
He was undergoing treatment after suffering stroke on Friday. It is learned that the funeral will be held at 4 pm at Mavoor Road Cemetery.
He is widely regarded as a pioneer in the field of travel tourism in the state, He is son of Yathra Guru Late Dr. KVC Narayanan Nair who was the founder of Vivekananda Travels. He is also well known as the Managing Editor of Theertha Sarathy, a travel magazine in Malayalam language.
