Bypolls will be evaluation of state government: Ramesh Chennithala
Thiruvananthapuram: Opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala said that the upcoming bypolls will be an evaluation of the state government. He added that UDF will have a huge success in these constituencies. He was speaking at a press meet after the date for bypolls in five assembly constituencies in Kerala was declared.
People are fed up with the poor administration of the state government. They are struggling due to the corruption, partiality and anti-people policies. The bypolls in all the six constituencies including Pala will be the people’s verdict against the government, Chennithala added.
MP Hibi Eden, former MLA of Ernakulam, said that the constituency is a sure seat of UDF and it will continue to be the same. UDF has started all types of organisational activities after the parliament election, he added.
Ten senior constituency committee presidents have been assigned duties. The political situations are completely in favour of UDF. The discussions on deciding the candidates have begun. The high command will decide candidates who have high chances of victory, Hibi Eden stated.
MP P. K. Kunhalikutty said that UDF is fully equipped to face the bypolls. Campaign has started in Manjeshwaram. He added that it was the low confidence of BJP that delayed the bypolls.
