Konni: KSRTC will operate special bus service from Pamba for Sabarimala pilgrims and 340 buses have been arranged for this. These are super deluxe, super fast and fast passenger buses. As the number of pilgrims increases, unit officers have been assigned to carry out more services from the depot.

Pamba special service will start from November 12. There will be an ambulance depot in Pamba. 90 employees are appointed here. Among them, 36 are for the mechanic category.

100 buses including 20 AC low-floor buses and 80 non-AC low-floor buses will be part of the Nilakkal-Pamba chain services. During this season, KSRTC continues to offer all the facilities for the pilgrims that were in place in the previous season.

Pamba service is available from the railway stations. There will be online booking facility and bond service. Also, special service will be operated if at least 40 passengers requested for the same. Due to Covid, KSRTC has had low revenue in the last two seasons.
