Bus owner commits suicide in Wayanad due to severe financial distress

Pambadi: A private bus owner P C Rajamani, a native of Ambalavayal in Wayanad district, committed suicide. He was found lying in the nearby farm of his house and had consumed poison. He was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to complications on Monday night.

Rajamani was the owner of the private bus Brahmaputra plying on the Kadalmad- Sultan Bathery route.

He was in severe financial distress as his bus could not run for the last one-and-a-half years due to Covid, said his relatives.
