Bus, car, container lorry collide in Thiruvananthapuram; five injured
Thiruvananthapuram: A KSRTC bus, container lorry and car collided with each other at 28th mile of Navayikkulam here. The accident happened on Sunday morning at 6.15 am. Five persons were injured.
The accident took place after a bus that was going from Vizhinjam depot to Palakkad and a container lorry of Delhi Baroda Road Corporation coming from Kollam side to Thiruvananthapuram, collided.
Following this collision, the driver cabin of the container lorry lost control and hit the car that was coming from behind. All five injured were passengers in the bus. They have been admitted to different hospitals.
The witnesses said that there were only five passengers in the bus and this reduced the magnitude of the accident. The driver of the container did not sustain any injury, said police.
