Bureaucratic reshuffle: Sriram Venkitaraman new Alappuzha collector, Renu Raj to head to Ernakulam

Thiruvananthapuram: Sriram Venkitaraman, the joint secretary in the health department, has been appointed as the new district collector of Alappuzha. Meanwhile, Renu Raj, former Alappuzha district collector will replace Jafar Malik in Ernakulam. Geromic George, Joint Commissioner of Land Revenue has been appointed as Thiruvananthapuram collector, replacing Navjot Khosa IAS.

Rajamanikyam IAS, the managing director of KSIDC will assume the office of the Rural Development Commissioner. S Harikishore IAS, the director of the Industries and Commercial Department, will have the additional responsibilities of the post left by Rajamanikyam IAS.

Meanwhile, Jafar Malik, the incumbent collector of Ernakulam, will take charge as PRD director besides handling the role of director in the Mining and Geology department.
Navjot Khosa IAS, the collector of Thiruvananthapuram, will take charge as the joint secretary of the health department.
