Kottayam: Two people killed in lightning on Wednesday in Mundakayam. The deceased are Sunil, (40) and Ramesh (35), natives of Mundakayam.
The accident happened at around 4 in the evening. They were standing outside a house, to scale it for sale. Though they were rushed to hospital, lives could not be saved. Ramesh and Sunil are brother-in-laws.
Isolated rains have been recorded in Kottayam in the past few days. More rains are forecasted till April 2.
