Brawl breaks out in Pathanamthitta hotel as customers attack staff over delay in serving food

Pathanamthitta: Several people were injured after a brawl broke out between workers and customers at a hotel here on Sunday night.

Four hotel employees, including three migrant workers, were injured after a group of three assaulted them for delay in serving food.

The incident happened at 'Chic-in', a hotel at St Peters Junction near Chittoor. The group of three reached the hotel at 7 PM and ordered a chicken dish. They also agreed to wait 20 minutes for the food to be prepared.

However, the group allegedly abused the staff for the delay and assaulted them. It is reported that the customers were drunk. Later, the hotel staff and the customers fought each other. The injured were later admitted to the hospital. Meanwhile, the police have taken Ranni natives into custody over the incident.
