New Delhi: Seeking union health ministry’s intervention into the Brahmapuram plant fire mishap, V Muraleedharan, Minister of State for External Affairs of India, on Monday met union health minister Mansukh L Mandaviya in New Delhi.

Following the talks, Mulareedharan said that the Brahmapuram plant has been functioning without adhering to waste management rules.

“I have asked the health minister to immediately intervene into matters, including carrying out studies to evaluate the environmental impacts of the fire,” he added.
