Boy found hanging in religious study centre in Malappuram

Thirunavaya: A boy was found hanging inside a Quran study centre in Malappuram on Wednesday. The deceased has been identified as Moideen Salih(11), hailing from Kadappadi near Kondotty.

He was found hanging at around 5 am on Wednesday by his classmates inside a large room used to rest near the Mahal Juma Masjid. Later, the college authorities reported the incident to the Kalpakanchery police. The forensic team examined the room after the inquest proceedings were concluded.

Salih, and his twin brother Hussain Sadiq, both class 5 students, joined Kaithakkara Hifzul Quran College three months ago. A few days back, they visited a relative's house, and Sadiq stayed there after contracting a fever. It is unclear what led to the death of the child.
