Body of Keralite woman killed in NZ mosque attack to be brought home on Monday
Kodungallur: The arrangements to bring home the dead body of Kodungallur native Ansi who was killed in a terrorist attack in a mosque in New Zealand recently has been completed. The body will be brought home on Monday. Ansi’s husband Kodungallur Thiruvallur native Abdul Nasar and relative Fahadh set out for Kerala on Saturday.
The body is expected to reach Nedumbassery airport in the wee hours of Monday and will be received by Ernakulam district collector. It will be brought to Ansi’s husband’s residence at Thiruvallur by 6 am and later at her own residence near Gourishankar hospital by 8 am.
The body will be kept for the public to pay homage at Methala Community Hall after the religious rituals. The final rites will take place at 11 in the morning at Cheraman Juma Masjid cemetery.
