Body of missing youth in Pamba river recovered 30 ft deep

Kozhencherry: The body of a youth who went missing in the Pamba river on Saturday was recovered. The body of Ebin Mathew was recovered from a depth of 30 feet.

Ebin Mathew (Sonu-24), a Chettikulangara native and son of couple Thottappurath Rajan and Lauly, entered the water along with brothers Merine (15) and Mefin (18) to take a bath.

However, they drowned and the bodies of Merine and Mefin were recovered. However, the search operation continued to find Ebin.

Officials said that the trio had come to Mavelikkara along with five others from Chettikulangara for the ongoing Maramon convention. After attending a bike race here, they went to bathe in the river. Mefin first met with the accident and drowned. Marine and Ebin met the same fate while trying to rescue Mefin.
