BJP will win 12 seats, declares core committee
Kochi: BJP core committee has examined that the party will emerge as the force to decide the verdict in the assembly polls. It is observed that the party had a better performance in over 30 constituencies. The core committee expressed hope that they will win 12 seats in the assembly polls.
BJP leadership hopes that the party will become a crucial force in the assembly observing that there are fewer chances for majority seats to any front.
Kummanam Rajasekharan from Nemom, K Surendran from Manjeshwaram, Sobha Surendran from Kazhakkoottam, VV Rajesh from Vattiyoorkkavu, BB Gopakumar from Chathanoor, E Sreedharan from Palakkad, C Krishnakumar from Malampuzha and K Sreekanth from Kasaragod are listed as the candidates who are likely to win the polls.
Suresh Gopi, AN Radhakrishnan, Krishnakumar and MT Ramesh who contested from Thrissur, Manaloor, Thiruvananthapuram and Kozhikode North respectively also are likely to show a better performance in the polls.
The party observed that the data received from the booths hinted at chances of victory in these constituencies.
A high-spirited competition was witnessed in over 30 constituencies where BJP will win over 30,000 votes. With the poll results, BJP is hoping to script history in Kerala, observed the core committee meeting held under BP national secretary CP Radhakrishnan who is in charge of the election in Kerala.
