BJP national reshuffle: Metro Man becomes special invitee; Kannanthanam, Sobha Surendran removed


New Delhi: The National Executive of BJP has been reorganised by removing Alphons Kannanthanam and Sobha Surendran on Thursday. Kummanam Rajasekharan and union minister V Muraleedharan will remain.

Metro man E Sreedharan and PK Krishnadas have become special invitees. By citing age related issues, O Rajagopal has not been considered for the executive. AP Abdullakutty and Tom Vadakkan will continue respectively as vice-president and spokesperson.

As many as 80 members are there in the national executive. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, senior leaders LK Advani, Murali Manohar Joshi and union ministers Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, Nitin Gadkari and Piyush Goyal are the other members in the executive.
